Wow what a lovely story. This book is well written and although it is a tale intended for children it will appeal to adults that have had dogs or cats as pets. The language is not dumbed down and there is good use of vocabulary that will sometimes challenge a younger reader. A great first book and I can't wait for the sequel.

This review is from: Boriscat and the Quest for the Golden Carp Fantastic book that my 7 year old daughter has just finished - she has used it in several of her homework assignments as the descriptions and volcabulary are brilliant - not only did she love the story of Boris and Olly but she also asked questions aswell and learned new stuff to boot - move over Harry - Boris is in the house. Lovely book - await the sequel. |
